You are not a machine.
Your energy changes.
Your concentration changes.
Your body asks for rest, food, movement, quiet, sleep, warmth, connection, space.
That isn’t weakness.
It is physiology.
We live in a culture that often treats tiredness as something to override and rest as something to justify.
Push through.
Keep going.
Be productive.
Have something to show for the day.
But there is a point where discipline stops being useful and starts becoming disconnection.
Sometimes exhaustion is not a challenge to conquer.
It is information.
Sometimes the most intelligent thing we can do is listen before the body has to shout.
That doesn’t mean abandoning responsibility.
It doesn’t mean every difficult feeling is a reason to stop.
And it doesn’t mean growth never asks us to stretch.
It simply means there is a difference between stretching ourselves and ignoring ourselves.
Rest does not have to be earned.
Limits do not make us defective.
And being human was never supposed to mean operating at one setting all day.
